Motorola Droid X users have finally got their much awaited Android 2.2 update. After a long wait, the Droid X users are finally able to download Android 2.2 update. Droid X Android 2.2 update isn’t that difficult to download or install.

However, a little section of the Droid X users faced few issues with the Android 2.2 powered Droid X. Some of them complained about the audio issues related to the ring tones and music.
Most of the Droid X users haven’t faced any difficulties, but a little percentage of them complained about the audio glitch.
Verizon responded on this issue, and said they are ‘looking into it’.
This seems to be a minor bug affecting not more than a little percentage of the Droid X phones. Many of the Droid X users found some minor glitches here and there after the installation, but all of them were automatically solved in just few minutes.
Motorola Droid X users were happy to see the Android 2.2 update anyway. Android 2.2 update brings a lot of cool new features to the Motorola Droid.
Flash is among the top of all the new features, as the new Droid X Flash player would take browsing to the next level.

I had sound issues with playing any of my music whether on the media player, Grooveshark or Tinyplayer. Cycling the power seemed to fix the issue…
I have problems with FM radio. The app doesn’t always shut down after the audio plug is pulled. Creating a problem with answering the phone.
5 people I know including myself have issues with the WI-FI Phase 2 Authentication setting not sticking, which prevents us from connecting to our Corporate Wireless Network. Worked fine before 2.2 update.
Won’t play music files. Won’t play googlevoice downloads. Makes me enter a pin every time the screen cycles off. Give me back 2.1 please!!!!
No problems at all. Love the Droid X, best phone ever!!!
I’ve been using the leaked ROM for a while now, no issues at all… glad I didn’t wait
Music app says “sorry the player doesn’t reconize this type of file”. It will not connect to my hands free bluetooth installed in my vehicle. Probably more issues that I’m not aware of. I’m NOT a happy camper. I had to go and wipe out my phone to even download the Froyo 2.2. Major pain to reinstall everything.
I’m having audio playback problems, it seems to glitch and skip since the update! All of my settings seemed to reset themselves as well.
lots of glitching.
1) camera functions very poorly “won’t load vid camera, cycles off reg camera functions, has difficulty finding images when taken from camera, less than satisfying images Compared to before the update to the new update. *one good thing about update for the camera function is the screen button, instead of having to use the flimsy big red.
2) Phone gets really hot when surfing web and))))))
Camera not going to video mode, texts out of order, stuck texts, wont retain ring settings, sometimes wont play music or media files without re-booting, number pad keys sometimes wont work (untill a-boot)… There could be more. This is absolutely uncceptable..and Im sure a larger percentage is affected than we think. Verizon…Motorola…FIX IT!
I have been having a problem that once i slide to unlock the phone it freezes then restarts. the funny thing is its not like a complete restart because it loads up way faster then normal to the unlock screen, although it will still go through the loading up process after i unlock it where it’ll look for service etc.
Problems with going into video mode. And on the audio front, I had heard that 2.2 causes the last 4 or 5 seconds of each music track to be cut off. I have had this problem since I got the phone back in July with 2.1. Hoping to see a fix with this soon. Oh, and if anybody has an idea, when I download books-on-CD, it messes up the order of tracks making it awkward to listen to material.
set my phone on vibrate and it doesnt…only in boot up or shut down…byt in vibrate mode for any notifications….it doesnt vibrate…also sometimes i lose audio notifications. but a simple reboot fixes that
