We’re getting very close to the release date of the Droid X2 (or, more properly known as the “Droid X²“), which should appease those looking to pick up Motorola’s latest Android phone on Verizon, which will sport a 1.2GHz Tegra 2 CPU with 768MB of RAM, plus a 4.3″ qHD 960×540 display with HDMI output. According to a Verizon internal listing, the Droid X² will be in stores in May 26 with fulfillments beginning as early as May 19.
